I had my eye on this recipe since it's been published as I have always been keen on the pistachio and chocolate combination. Finally I made them for the bake sale helping to raise money for Hillside Animal Sanctuary. I only tasted bit and pieces left over after I finished filling in the moulds and it was yummy. This is my first attempt at both pickling and deviled eggs. Results are encouraging. We had these beautiful looking eggs and there is plenty of pickled beets left to use in salads for packed lunched during the week. I followed Leela Cyd's recipe from designsponge and it worked out well for me.
