Izmir Kofte - best ever meatballs

I made these meatballs for my daughter and her friend last week and it was named as "best ever meatballs". I make the meatballs using my food processor which is really quick. Here is the recipe; Ingredients 500 gr 10% fat beef mince 1 small onion 2 small slices of bread (can be white, wholemeal whichever is available; even better if it is a few days old) 1 egg Handful of chopped parsley 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper 1/4 teaspoon all spice Pinch of paprika 2 tablespoons of olive oil For the tomato sauce 1 tablespoon butter 400 gr tin of chopped tomatoes or if you have the time 3 fresh tomatoes peeled and cubed 2 cloves of garlic crushed 1/2 tin of warm water Ha

We enjoyed this lovely shakshuka with friends on Sunday brunch and the leftover tomato sauce served as tomoato sauce for the pasta at dinner. Recipe is below, if you want left over tomato sauce just double the sauce ingredients and save half of it before adding the eggs. Autumn is here, and we starting eating soup almost everyday. Here is a recipe of a family favorite. It is called "yayla" soup, which is a warm yogurt soup with mint and paprika butter. I usually end up with a very thick consistency on my soups which I like. If you like your soup less thick, you can add 1 more cup of stock.
